Quiche {Quick and Easy}

Real men do eat Quiche

Or at least they should, as it is amazingly light…..and depending on the filling ingredients…… can tempt even the stingiest of taste buds!!

Unfortunately, none of the male gender in my household eats quiche, which means I don’t make this very often.  Sigh!!!

I tend to make it when girlfriends are over, or I know that I am going to be by myself for a few days and will have no problem polishing it off.  This Quiche recipe is my ‘go-to’/staple or if you will…… bible recipe, and is extremely adaptable……even to the discerning palate.  You can literally put whatever fillings or toppings into it.  Like mushrooms?  Throw some in!  Prefer spinach, asparagus, broccoli and artichokes?  Throw them all in!!  I play around with the cheese mixture, but tend to come back to Swiss more often than not!!  I may play around with the filling contents, but I never fool around with the binding ingredients…….the eggs, heavy cream and quantity of cheese…..always stays the same.  The quantity always stays the same.  Everything else is fair game!

I want to thank my friend Shelly, who gave me the reason to make this quick and easy Quiche last Saturday.  It turned into ‘girls night in’, and the company couldn’t have been better.  THANK YOU!

What is your favorite Quiche recipe?            Do you even like Quiche (and if not….why not)?

Until next time…….
