Pepperoni Bubble Bread {Monkey Bread}

Pepperoni Bubble Bread {Monkey Bread} will never be compared to the sugary sweet confection that we all know and love.  I fell head over heals in love with Monkey Bread when my Mom first introduced it into our lives when I was a teenager.  The original is a sinful combination of biscuits, melted butter, cinnamon and sugar, and has been around a long, long time.  It truly is an easy recipe to whip up, with heavenly results.  Why should it be limited to breakfast or dessert?

Pepperoni Pizza Monkey Bread

I am forever looking for quick and easy recipes for my family.  Our schedules are all overloaded, and we need simple recipes that can be whipped up quickly, AND that our kids will eat…..and even ask for more!  Here are a few of my favorites that you might want to add to your repertoire….you can find them here and here.  I saw on Pinterest awhile back, where people were rolling the biscuit around pepperoni and cheese, and then tossing it into a bunt pan, and calling it Monkey Bread.  I tried this a couple time’s, switching it up both times…..only to be equally disappointed with both versions.

I didn’t want to reinvent the wheel, I just wanted to be able to use the same concept as the original Monkey Bread, but for dinner.  Quartered biscuits, melted butter, seasonings, cheese and pepperoni.  This recipe is truly a hit in my family!  The boys love it!  Poor PT hasn’t had the pleasure…..always coaching basketball when I have made it, but I will make it for him soon. Even when you walk in the front door at 6pm, you can easily have this in the oven by 6:10…..as long as you have all of the ingredients.  It certainly is better than caving and bringing the kids to their favorite fast food joint.  I have been there, many……..many times, which is why I am on the hunt for meals that can be prepared in less than 25 minutes.

Look at it!  It’s calling your name right name, asking you to dive right in and take a piece!  You literally could call it pull apart bread if you wanted, as the biscuits are quartered and then mixed together with all of the other yummy ingredients.  Whether you all sit around and pull sections apart…..or you are civilized and cut the sections apart with a knife……you are going to want to have a small bowl of pizza sauce (I cheat, and half the time I use spaghetti sauce) to dip this in.  From the smiles on all your faces, I know that Pepperoni Bubble Bread {Monkey Bread} will be made in your home soon!
